at imm cologne 2013, pepe heykoop presents his collection produced as part of his collaboration with the tiny miracles foundation in mumbai india -
the paper vase cover, leather lampshades, matka vase, bamboo diamond and copper lampshade. the initiative, set up by heykoop's cousin,
involves the community living in the slums of india and aims to pull 700 people from poverty by providing healthcare, education and jobs within 8 years.

some examples of how tiny miracles includes the community can be seen with the 'paper vase cover' - a water-proof,
flat-pack skin that turns an empty bottle into an aesthetic feature - which was created in collaboration with the
pardeshi community of women that live by the very dangerous area of the red light district in mumbai.
the 'bamboo diamond' was built with the help of drop out boys from the slums. the series activates design and making as
a positive tool for change within the impoverished areas of india.
