the idea of a plank of wood is transformed into a lighting object, illuminated by dimmable LEDs. conceived by frida ottemo fröberg
and marie-louise gustafsson for northern lighting, the lamps are made from pure raw wood, their appearance referencing that of used delivery pallets.
presented at the 2013 stockholm furniture fair, ‘plank’ comes in pendant, wall or floor versions and is available in either poplar,
or a darker kebony southern yellow pine, the raw material left unfinished to express the natural marks of the wood as a result of handling and production.
