the router, a near necessity in the lives of many, has never been a stunning object; functional, but rarely, if ever, a centerpiece. in hopes of changing the trend, german porcelain producer rosenthal put their expertise to the test. the result is ‘PorceLAN’, a connected vase developed by ferdinand povel and haiko meyer. the piece consists of two sections that fit together seamlessly via magnetic bases. flowers can be placed directly in the top, while all router infrastructure remains hidden from view in the bottom.
