‘kale kilit security center’ by i-am, 2012

turkish creative studio i-am associates, based in istanbul, have developed the aesthetic for the kale kilt security center. the design space demonstrates the integrated security services provided by the company by highlighting the brand’s innovations with a vibrant, rainbow paned glass installation. i-am has told designboom that british artist antony gormley’s ‘breathing room III‘ exhibited at the white cube gallery in england helped to form this transparent and multi-colored installation.

the open office has been defined in four experience rooms including hi-tech house, classical house, hotel and office concept in order to provide differentiated spaces for the customer to contemplate kale kilt’s products in a cohesive, yet, defined area within the center. along with the panes of green, red, yellow, and blue tinted glass, the designers have added an interactive component to the commercial area, installing touch screens for customers to customize their own designs. the bright cubes within the security center mark the start of one experience room to the next.
