produced by magis, ron arad’s ‘folly bench’ is rotation-moulded from polyethylene in which the designer continues to explore the technical boundaries of industrial materials. made for indoor and outdoor use, its sculptural form is a three-dimensional take on a möbius strip, in which the seating and back rest surfaces run into one another seamlessly. taking on a rust brown color finish, it comes with a kit that allows one to fix it to the floor and accommodates between 8-10 people at a time, making it suitable for outdoor commercial use.
