sagmeister & walsh's politically charged trump protest pins 'won’t save the world'

coinciding with the highly controversial american presidential election upcoming this november, sagmeister & walsh has created 40 enamel pins in support of their candidate. the collection of quirky illustrations featured as part of the ‘pins won’t save the world’ project include stickers, posters, patches, t-shirts, and temporary tattoos. their message: protest donald trump, encourage people to vote for hillary clinton, and promote love, tolerance and kindness.

in addition sagmeister & walsh’s own designs,the studio asked some of their talented friends and colleagues to contribute to the project. contributors onboard include brian rea, jean jullien, timothy goodman, olimpia zagnoli, ward sutton, will bryant, coucou suzette, adam jk, ro & co studio, jon contino, and hort.

graphics from the ‘pins won’t save the world‘ project include a trump-inspired mr. potato head figure, a rainbow with the words ‘love trumps hate’ written on its colors, and the phrase ‘make america love again’ inscribed on an anatomical heart. a profits from purchases will be donated to amnesty international‘s#americaibelievein charity. ‘we want everyone to be able to wear their heart (and politics) on their sleeves (or bags and jackets)‘ the team say.
