savvy studio of monterrey, mexico designed this cheerful identity for seafood restaurant ‘la cigala zul’.

la cigala zul is a seafood restaurant is located at the center of a city that is overpopulated with similar restaurants.

savvy wanted to help it stand out from the crowd by helping to communicate it’s joyful and festive nature. the brand ingredients include a ‘naval’ color scheme and symbolism along with custom stencil typography are used together with high contrast photography of the food and drink.

the copy extends the brand personality further with phrases like ‘come como capitán, bebe como marinero’ (eat like a captain, drink like a sailor).
