sebastian herkner and gubi have partnered to create the ‘collar lamp’, that debuted at IMM cologne 2015. the series of pendent lights combines hand-blown glass with an aluminium ‘collar’, used as a reflector. merging new technologies with traditional craftsmanship, herkner highlights the multifaceted beauty of the materials and draws renewed attention to detail. the ‘collar lamp’ comes in two sizes and is available in five different colours: black, grey, taube, terracotta and sand. the ‘collar lamp’ stands alone individually, but by mixing colours and sizes it gives possibilities for strong personal and playful installations.
