‘shongololo bench’ by louis henri

completely made by hand the ‘shongololo bench’ by london-based designer louis henri is manufactured
using a cold curing process – where thin layers of walnut veneer sheets are moulded into a custom made frame.
the bench is then upholstered with eelskin panels and accented with small silver studs. 56 hand-turned walnut
legs and acrylic foot details are integrated into the piece – as the shadows created by the interplay of the
silhouette’s positive and negative space enable the furniture to really connect with its environment and viewers.
