presented at the 2013 stockholm furniture fair is the latest collection of designs by nendo for david design – the ‘small black vase series’.
the range is a continued inquiry into creating 3D form with wire, a technique explored and mastered by the prolific japanese firm in the past.
the collection of graphic and sculptural frames are intended to be united with a user’s favourite glass – transforming the sinewy contours into a vase centrepiece.
