smokestack garden heater by frederik roije

a landmark and symbol of progress–something generally associated with the industrial processing of materials–the smokestack is scaled down by frederik roije. the dutch designer envisions the archetypal factory chimney as a garden heater, a source of warmth, light and safety for the home. made from corten steel which offers a unique look and function (the material corrodes and a sustainable protective layer is formed), ‘smokestack’ is manufactured in the netherlands and is good for an endless summer flame.
