amsterdam-based graphic designer rop van mierlo has created the book, ‘some logic’ using his wet-on-wet painting style to colorfully depict different creatures. the pages are filled with amorphous, fuzzy-shaped images, displaying vibrant blobs that are still recognizable as various wild and domesticated animals. a pigeon playfully struts across the page, a fiery orange horse thunders through a white field, the crocodile raises its head from the morass, while two goats peer curiously at the reader. the self-published hardcover book is a cheerful reading volume that is set to be appreciated by all ages.
