'tank anti-shock aluminum iPad case' by andrea ponti for innopocket
manufactured by innopocket, the 'tank case' by italian designer andrea ponti is conceived to protect all parts of a
user's iPad that are most exposed to dents, scratches, and wear such as touch-screen corners, ports, and side buttons.
the design features two aluminum shells and an ABS clasp that allows the top shell to rotate 360 degrees and disappear
behind the iPad. the enclosure is internally lined with an ultra-thin polymeric membrane that buffers the contact
between the two metal shells. a 1.25mm-raised cross pattern prevents scratches, pressure, and accidental dropping,
without added volume or thickness.
