‘dent cube’ by ianx

inax, japan’s leading manufacture of tiling and building materials presented has developed ‘dent cube’. the three-dimensional porcelain stoneware cladding can be used to create interior or exterior walls in an array of endless configurations with its distinctive intended pattern. ‘dent cube’ is part of the nagomi series which has been conceived in collaboration with architect and designer teruo yasuda who brought colour and verticality to the collection.

influenced by the east, ‘nagomi’ means tranquility, peace and serenity.  the yellow, pink, red, blue, and green tiles

convey this sense of well-being. supplied on a mesh backing in modules of 30 x 30 cm the 4.7 x 4.7 cm small tiles come in two types: 1 cm thick and smooth or 1.8 cm thick with a border, which can be left empty or be inserted with a glass tile.  ‘dent cube’ is made of 50% recycled product and now available through artedomus.
