Although this vessel would be popular at the start, I fear she would be a passing fad. I really wish this person who wants the ship built would put his money to a really worthy cause such as the SS United States – she’s far more deserving of such funds.

After a few voyages, barring a collision with an iceberg in the South China Sea, the novelty of sailing aboard the Titanic II may wear thin very quickly, unless the quality of service, facilities and, most of all, cuisine set standards unmatched by competitors.

Someone needs to build a home or homes that look like the rooms in the titanic with the grand front entrance of the home you walk in & there is the staircase from the Titanic. THAT would be SO awesome!!! OMG I WISH I had the money to build my own dream home with the staircase in my own home. It’s my idea I want the money for the idea if anyone takes up my idea.

Out of curiosity, who do the Blue Star Line think will be queuing up to travel Third Class in a replica Titanic?
Given that this was the preserve of the very poor, who scraped together the price of a ticket to emigrate to the USA?
Not exactly dream cruise material.
Better count the lifeboats before boarding…

Yes it has. I’d recommend a visit to Titanic Belfast, opened on 31st March 2012, just yards from where Titanic and her sisters were constructed – Nine galleries telling the complete story of the ship and the shipyards that built her.
