the ‘all lamp’ by german designer tobias lugmeier can be twisted, bent and molded into multiple shapes. the light source itself is the main structure, reducing the lamp to a minimum – there is no frame, default form and no restrictions. the function of the piece is able to shine brightly, while offering a level of flexibility in its usage as it can be placed in multiple settings and even hung from the ceiling. the ‘all lamp’ combines its frame, luminary and base into the one piece, in an experiment that seeks to interpret the concept of form versus function through heightening the awareness of it.
