in 2013, tokujin yoshioka debuted the ‘PRISM’ collection for glasitalia, a series of furniture and mirrors. on the occasion of the 2014 salone del mobile, the japanese designer presents an expansion of ‘PRISM’ with the ‘mirror table’. the furniture piece is produced from a thick high-transparency mirrored glass, cut using a special technique in which the surfaces give off a clear sparkling expression through the refraction of light, much like that of a prism.

PRISM glass chair is a created using thick high-transparency glass. the cut technique on the surface references the faceted sparkle effect that occurs with light refracted prisms.
