located in downtown toronoto, canada, ‘her majesty’s pleasure‘ seeks to provide a new beauty salon experience, by fusing a café, retail boutique, and bar with the typical wellness and spa services. imagined by design office +tongtong, in close collaboration with the ambitious clients, the mixture of programs allow for guests to get manicures, pedicures, and blowouts while socializing and possibly enjoying a beverage. the project composes a variety of colors and finishes materials, to create a light and open environment.

various areas on the shop’s sides feature unfinished timber surfaces, which are complemented by raised and yellow-painted ceilings. the combination, along with concealed lighting, creates a warm environment.
