a transportable palm garden that can be used in your home, office or exterior balcony ‘jagger’, conceived by dutch designers gaston + gilles, the piece is constructed out of recycled wooden doors, rubber wheels, straps and a 150 watt lamp. this everyday object measures 215 cm in length and 80 cm in width, with an embedded light detail giving the piece an evening beacon and focal point. the handmade planter is available at sweatshop deluxe, a collective which features craft and not mass produced items, made when possible from sustainable materials. part of the proceeds will be donated to the dutch food bank, in the form of food.
