the seemingly small objects that we use on a daily basis within our homes have the ability to represent something more. they can be sentimental through the stories of how they came to be there, or their shapes can remind us of other things in the world. using these ideas, wishlist, a tel aviv-based design studio, has introduced a playful approach to napkin rings collectively called ‘napkin zoo’.

the products recreate the forms of various forest animals. the ears of the bear, rabbit, and deer have been placed around the circumference of the holders, each of which is distinguished by a distinct color. the three-ring packages are distributed by ototo as part of their winter 2015 collection.
