--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- el ultimo grito (the last word) roberto feo, rosario hurtado and francisco santos stated 'it is beautiful when materials do what they want to do.' the spanish trio is creating ‘product personality’ through the exploration of the tactile and engineering properties of materials. in 2001 they designed a moveable espresso bar ‘unfolding an ambience’ for lavazza, resembling a series of stacking display cases. each unit incorporates an espresso machine, storage, lighting, signage, seating… (originally designed for the torino biennale of art in italy).  ------- monthly designboom newsletter ------- ------- ? comments and contact us ? -------  |
