yung ho chang: urbanizing bamboo is a proposal to repair the damaged ecology and an attempt to create a symbiosis between ecosystem and contemporary chinese urban life. he suggest the installation of a bamboo line as a component of the city infrastructure, alongside the wter, electricity, gas and telephone lines, to provide an entire city with a continues network of the plant. with stems and a nutrition fluid inside, the bamboo line may reach every building in town, the plants act as sun shade, air purifier and humidifier.
