(on the left) by structuring the architecture according to a wooden grid system, these building becomes
a 'sensor' of light, since, with the changing illumination of the space, the grid also alters its
essence, sometimes it forms a solid, translucent plane, at other times a transparent one.

the purpose of these projects is to rediscover and re-express the true essence of japanese
architecture.
