xavier lust belgian furniture design is gaining a stronger international presence thanks to the creations of sophisticated examples of minimalist design from a new batch of young designers (axel enthoven, tom de wulf, jean wauters, frans van praet, lowie vermeersch, jürgen oskamp, wim segers, dirk wynants, danny venlet, johan van lierde, claire bataille & paul ibens, maarten van severen) xavier lust is widely recognized as one of the most talented belgian designers of his generation. --- philosophical approach 'I maintain a physical relationship with the objects, a subtle and not easily measurable relation, which can sometimes rise beyond concepts of comfort, solidity, price...
