(obviously he wasn't too drunk...) --- marc atlan was born in france in 1967. he graduated from ESDI (ecole superieure de design industriel, paris) in 1989. he has been active as a freelance designer since 1993. he met rei kawakubo and started to collaborate on graphic design (such as the package design for comme des garcons, perfume in 1994). in 1999 he met helmut lang and participated in the launching of his first perfume line. in 2001 he met tom ford and became senior art director for yves saint laurent, the ysl 'beaute' line and boucheron. in 2002 he creates MAD, inc.
