'our pictures show people in ordinary situations at home, on holiday, whilst doing sports or travelling etc. the subjects focus on kids, family, in-scene, seniors, sports, interiors'. astrid herrman says. the agency concept won the following awards: _ pitch-fever-competition, announced by the economic authority of hamburg and newmedia@work hamburg _ start-up-competition multimedia 2000; announced by the german federal authority of economy and technology. --- photographers 'since we do not offer photographs showing perfect faces and polished models, we choose unusual ways to find our pictures. instead of exclusively cooperating with professional photographers we search in private archives and albums for good photographies. because life itself creates the best pictures. we presently work together with 110 photographers'. --- visual database 'our online picture library offers the possibility of quick picture research and 24 hrs downloading. for 98 % of all plainpictures a written model release of the persons shown exists - which means that the persons portrayed have given their written approval for publication of their picture. so that these pictures can be used not only for editorial purpose, but also by advertising or multimedia companies or publishing houses for commercial purposes. you can scan our portfolio not only for special headwords (for ex. dogs, play, mother, coffee etc.) but also for associations (for ex. cold, red, queer, critical, round etc.). thus, you are able not only to find those pictures already -in your head- but you can let yourself inspire and seduce by the visual results'. --- the plainpicture-team plainpicture was founded by valentin alscher and roman härer, both photo designers, and astrid herrmann, graphic designer.
