walking sticks offer a seat for rest.
three legged and four-legged stick folding stools impart a turning motion to the legs round a central pivot.
a locking action is provided by the canvas, cane or leather seat.
the predecessors are made in wood or bamboo, today aluminium, plastics and carbon fibres are used.
