1st, 2003. (designboom's editor-in-chief collaborates over
15 years with vico magistretti) we arrived an hour early and
vico guided us around the show.

the exhibition site was filled with many guests:
collaborators, manufacturers, architects, designers, friends...
we were delighted that the exhibition has been such a popular
success and is attracting a steadily growing number of visitors.

vico magistretti
was born in milan on october 6, 1920.
he graduated in architecture in 1945.
he then joined his father's small private architecture
studio where he still practices architecture and
design. he is the author of many best - and
long - selling objects.
of his + 120 objects he has designed in the past
50 years, 80% are still in production.

he is an honorary professor and senior fellow of
the royal college of art, london and was nominated
royal designer for industry by the royal society
of arts.
