selling sneakers : shop interiors

adidas / nike/ puma / reebok
it's not easy for a global company whose trainers are on
every high street and in every suburban mall, to remain
fashionable.
young people like brands that are (a bit) rebellious,
and the top 4 - adidas, nike, puma, reebok -
are perilously close to being the establishment.
the current generation has grown up with trainers:
they already know they're supposed to make you run faster
and jump higher.
the future for those companies isn't going to be, hey,
here's better shoes, better apparel, better product.
the craze for vintage clothing has been hitting retailers
pretty hard, especially those whose business is street
casual wear.
it's going to be a lot more dimensionalised...
customisation and the personalisation of products
and services are going to be a bigger and bigger part
of their future.
but when you're talking about the worldwide athletic-shoe
industry, nothing is out of the question.
and what about their branded interiors?
here are the newest concept / original / flagship... stores.
