nike HQ's

new offices and showrooms in central london

designed by jump design and architectural studios,
based london,uk and brescia, italy

nike has built its business on the assumption that hi-tech
trainers would always be considered cool,
even if the technology was irrelevant to what customers
were actually using the shoes for (shock absorbers
being of limited value in the pub).
the strategy has helped nike become the major company.
once you're in the business of selling icons,
you'd better keep those icons coming.
unfortunately nike has found itself associated with the hi-tech
trainer at a moment that it has become unfashionable...
but the company hasn't abandoned its traditional focus on
high-tech performance gear.

the undisputed heavyweight champ of the sportswear
world, nike lands another blow to its envious rivals by
grabbing the london HQ showroom.
the mission is simple: get the products on people
cooler than you, which will hopefully inspire you to follow suit.
all the nike lines are here, with more new designs,
more lines, and more colors than any other brand,
nike remains streets ahead.

concept
the brief has been to create an inspirational and upbeat
environment, reflective of nike’s dedication to performance
through innovation and it’s commitment to design as a tool for
achieving this.
the showrooms are officially known just as
'nike london HQ' - they are not open to the public but to
retailers to view the very latest nike products;
although some of the design language will find it's
way into retail applications, in terms of technical
materials and experimental forms.
