chair table

another icon of 'transformer chairs'
- transformers that change modes -
is the classic chair table.

the first mode is a solid table,
the table top slips behind the chair back when not in use.
the second a seat of visual (and social) importance,
a cerimonial object. the high back transforms the chair
into a throne-like chair.

below you can find also some new interpretations and
re-designs of chairs folding into tables.
