It moves along boundaries of territories it has explored and, sometimes, it hides quickly, eluding any kind of definition. The frame is made out of stainless steel but it could as well be moulded in aluminium, in shell or pressure die-casting or in polypropylene air moulding. Hinges are in aluminium. The fabric is the latest version of W2, a self supported fabric by Quantum Group, supplier of Herman Miller for its advanced Aeron Chair. The reinforcements are made in Zenith, a high performance fabric as well, produced thanks to an innovative loom, patented by Itam. This "dress" is stretched with the aid of Harken micro-blocks, the edge products for sailing purpose. The series of blocks reduce the load required to pretension the seat, and allow to control its response. Fabric’s elasticity keeps together the structure and there is no need for any blocking system. Leudo Lounge can be used outdoors thanks to its materials (self supported fabric avoids perspiration). It weights 20kg and has a thickness of 15cm only (when collapsed), which makes it easy to move and store in the winter.
