The Armadillo chair is a roll-up shell, made up of moulded slats.
The separate parts are upholstered and jointed to each other with a textile hinge.
An integrated tensioning system runs around the perimeter of the shell.
The shape of the chair can be finely tuned by adjusting the tensioner.
This makes it possible to position the armadillo chair, anywhere
from its defined upright position to a flat mat, and then finally into a coil.
