Sail's concept was inspired by the world of sailing-ships and technical solutions in sailing of the past and present.
My project's objective was to develop a 3D foldable/collapsible structure of a minimal weight and having minimal dimensions
while folded providing maximum sitting comfort while unfolded.

Stretched fabric seat holds and stabilizes the whole construction in unfolded position.

Aluminum Extrusion, Aluminum Casting, Fabric.
Dimensions:
Unfolded - height 89 cm, width 72 cm, depth 63 cm;
Folded (with case) - length 96 cm, diameter about 13 cm.
