designboom and 100% design international design competition 100% FOLDING CHAIRS - PROTOTYPES WANTED results ! title: osso chair # : 316 name : nilesh vadgama gender : male age : 36 city : london state : uk --- The Osso chair ( bone in Italian ) has been designed to fold in on itself and therefore becoming easy to carry and store. The joints are like human joints in that they limit the movement of the components, which adds stability and rigidity when open. The full scale prototype is made from 5mm white acrylic and is cosmetic only. It demonstrates the compact size when closed, the ergonomic profile when open and the working joints.
