designboom and 100% design international design competition 100% FOLDING CHAIRS - PROTOTYPES WANTED results ! title: larambalda # : 342 name : barbara scotti + stefano zanella gender : female + male age : 32 city : rho state : italy --- LARAMBALDA is composed by 2 steel tubes curved to draw the shape of the arms, the seat and the legs. Two steel rods constrain the structure and allows the folding movement. The X is constrained to the structure just at the upper side. Stability is secured by the chairs weight (that blocks the vertical movement) and by two ball, (that block the horizontal movement).
