designboom and 100% design international design competition 100% FOLDING CHAIRS - PROTOTYPES WANTED results ! title: chable - chair and table # : 409 name : dennis zupan / matthias von der recke gender : male age : 26 city : neuried state : germany --- The folding piece of furniture 'chable' combines the functions of a chair and a table rolled into one. 'Chabl'e' adapts to the user's needs by its easily manipulative form. Either folded up and stored in a small space, used as a table or as a seat. A patented transformation system links the different states and makes this design unique. It can be made out of different materials allowing it to be used both indoors and outdoors. The shown prototype is made of aluminium. Wood and acryl are also possible alternatives.
