CLIPCLAP folds through the middle axis, so the seat and back closes
completely together and CLIPCLAP ends up being only 40mm thick. The
construction locks itself, which means the more weight you put on it, the
stronger it gets.
The prototype is made of 9mm plywood and is only held together by
piano-hinges.
It's possible to make CLIPCLAP out of plastic (see the attached picture), in
that case the hinges will be made as a part of the material and that will
make it even stronger.
The two holes in the seat make CLIPCLAP easy to fold - just lift and carry.
