A roll of leather which when folded 'snaps' into a chair.
The secret of 'Crazy Carpet' is a sheet of polypropylene folded along curved
scored lines which is then sheathed in leather.
Lines delineate planes which then 'snap' to create volumes, which are
secured with Velcro.
The act of folding along curves generates alternating concave and convex
planes providing rigidity, seemingly defying the apparent 'flimsy' nature of
the flat material.
The chair is demountable, utilizing polypropylene's 'live hinge ' property.
In its unfolded state, 'Crazy Carpet' may be packed flat or rolled.
