bring a designsouvenir from tokyo
designboom hosted a group exhibition of international design
professionals, some that you are already acquainted with
and some others that deserve to be noticed. 
participating designers sold ‘design-originals’ 
(limited series and/or prototypes of their latest works). 
100% design tokyo visitors had the opportunity to purchase
intelligent, useful and quirky items priced from a range of
(japan yen) JPY 1,000 to JPY 15,000. 
from metal to ceramics, glass to fabrics, to recycled materials,
the close to 100 beautiful objects on sale achieved a good
compromise between creativity and production. 
in this initiative, the designers were personally presenting their
wares, so the - designboom 100% design tokyo mart 2005 - 
was an unprecedented opportunity to meet the young avant-garde
and become familiar with their body of work.
