macef design award 2004 : results title: SEE TEMPERATURE # : 1470 ivana radovanovic from croatia ---  designer's comment: SEE TEMPERATURE BEFORE YOU FEEL IT - you’ll get a visual information about temperature of your water, avoiding burned fingers and mouth - the container is made of layered temperature sensitive material - middle layer is coated with thermocromatic paint which changes color to give different appearance - under normal ambient conditions, the message is transparent; it becomes visible by change of the transparent material to colored opaque material at certain temperatures – giving a dramatic and momentary indication to potential user - temperature that causes change must be higher or lower then human body temperature --- H2O - back to the index page - ---  ------- monthly designboom newsletter ------- ------- ? comments and contact us ? -------
