macef design award 2004 : results title: FREDDO H2O # : 1031 john karatzas from australia ****** winner ****** ---  --- 1-  2-  3-  4-  designer's comment: This concept was conceived over 2 years ago as I accidentally bumped water off my ice cube tray. It’s an ice-cube tray as well as a water container. You basically fill the tray as you would a plastic bottle up to the indicated level and then place it flat in the freezer. When the ice is ready, you simply twist the container to displace the cubes which can be poured into glass. You may also fill the container with water or a cool aid without removing cubes. The material would be a PET plastic and the method of manufacture would be ‘blow molding’ making it a high volume product. There’s an opportunity to design glasses and tray to complete the set.
