macef design award 2004 : results title: WATER VESSEL # : 1288 dana krieger from usa ---  designer's comment: The proposed water vessel is a pliable ice-cube tray whose resulting ice "cubes" take the form of fish with plastic skeletons. As molded the ice and plastic have a positive buoyancy causing the fish to float. As the ice melts the net buoyancy decreases until the depleted fish skeleton rests at the bottom of a serving vessel or individual glass. Fish tails double as stems for easy removal of ice from forming tray.
