macef design award 2004 : results title: CATCH THE WATER # : 1415 sara coutinho + filipa pinto + mónica santos from portugal ---    designer's comment: H2O is a no form, mobil, flexible, uncatched material. ... so, how can we catch water? By giving skin! The idea is to transfer and adapt the water caracteristics, which will not define a container, but a "dressed water". The object has a conceve pre form, flexible with low expansion, so it fisical form is molded by users, to became a "touchable water". This "free" form has a hole which allows an interaction with the user and the enviornment. It can be used for holding or it can be hang, for instance, if there isn?t enough space on the table.
