macef design award 2004 : results title: EQUILIBRIUM # : 1857 sonja vrbovszky from uk ---  designer's comment: Concept: "balance and tipping over‰. Placing the bottle horizontally prevents tipping it over. Its material, glass, is slightly etched (fading out towards the head), adding a soft touch and look and providing good grip. In 10cm distance from its head a sieve is placed. Therefore the water flows out with moderate speed, keeping the bottle well balanced while serving water. The reduced flowing speed and the curvy head of the bottle shape an elegant water jet which may easily be directed even into small glasses. The bottle&Mac226;s cylindrical shape morphs into a flat end touching the table, which prevents the bottle from rolling.
