macef design award 2004 : results title: PACE # : 2490 touko palviainen + maarit aspelin from finland ---  designer's comment: PACE is your personal utensil to enjoy refreshing water more luxurious way e.g. in workplace. PACE pitcher and glass are made of PDO (PET-like, of corn starch) in the same way disposable soft drink bottles: injection moulded preforms are stretch blow moulded. Difference is that PACE is thicker and not disposable. PACE functions also as a package for water. The necessary product information can be printed on the cap and shrink-wrap that holds glass and pitcher together. There won&Mac226;t be any disturbing screws or labels after opening the package, just elegant pitcher and glass to refill and reuse.
