This is part of the activities to provide playground equipment by using the fund of reconstruction.
 The site is located in the hills of northeast Kesennuma Furumachi ,We ll built a playground equipment to fit the new kindergarten in August .

This main function is athletic for a kindergarten pupil. addition to Gazebo(play ground equiopment) overlooking the town from the top of a high hill .

Reconstruction has not progressed even after two years from the earthquake .And I thought that trying to make a "soft stone" which is a monument of reconstruction .

almost  young  architects  do not have the action. Because they are feeling helpless.

but I think we ought to continue to suggest towards the reconstruction.

柔らかい石～葦の芽幼稚園遊具設営計画

「建築は柔らかくて毛深いものになるだろう。」サルバドール・ダリ

これは復興の基金を利用して被災地に遊具を提供する活動の一部である。
敷地は東北気仙沼古町の丘陵に位置し、8月に移設する新設の幼稚園に合わせて遊具兼展望台となる遊具を建造する。機能は園児達がアスレチックとして利用するものであるが、
高い丘の上であることを利用して復興を進める町を見下ろせるように展望台も兼ねている。

震災から二年を経ても復興はままなってはいない。
そこで復興の碑石となる「柔らかい石」を作ることが出来ないだろうかと考えた。

無力さを感じて何も出来ないと思って行動を起こしていない建築家は多い。
だけど僕らがすべきことは復興に向けて提案し続けることではないだろうか？
