designer's own words:

The bottle becomes the fork; the cap is part of the spoon. The concept is, that the peroni™ bottle and cap become part of the food utensils to be used during aperitivo. The fork’s head is inserted into the bottle’s opening, making the bottle the fork’s handle. The cap is utilized as the connector of the spoon’s handle to its head. How the fork/bottle aperture works: The fork’s rear structure allows it to be inserted into the bottle’s opening. During the insertion the ribs on the fork’s body are squeezed and when the fork is inserted the whole way, the ribs expend and adjust themselves to the bottle's structure; How the cap/spoon aperture works: 1) The spoons handle is inserted into the spoon’s head. 2) The cap is inserted in between the spoon’s head/handle connection. 3) The cap gets stuck in the back portion’s undercut, preventing the spoon from coming apart.
