I have designed a series of slip cast cups that are a pleasure to use. The handle has been replaced by a ring of thicker material that protects the user from the heat of the cup. The ring has the added advantage of cradling the lip which makes the cups a joy to drink from. The cups are located on a plate by a nipple which fits into the boss on the cup. The plate has a small fold near the nipple which make it essay to pick up and hold. The cups and plates can be made for ether porcine or earthenware and are glazed white/clear.
