designer's own words:

This concept has been developed using The Crystal Square tiles of the dimension 25mm by 6,5 mm as depicted on the website. These small faceted crystal tiles are mounted on a larger glass tile with ceramic edges (in the size of a regular bathroom tile). Encased within this glass tile is a flower. When the crystal tiles are mounted onto the glass tile, they fragment and reflect the flower encased within creating beautiful reflections and part reflections. The flower itself, can be illuminated via fibre optic lighting (with a light source from above) or lighting via Electroluminescent paper from behind the glass tile, further enhancing the magical effect. Fibre optic and EL lighting has been suggested so that the tiles are electrically secure, with no wires and the chance of electric leakage. The finished product is intended for use in a bathroom scenario, an ultra luxurios bathroom. When splashes of water fall on these tiles (mounted on a wall), it gives the effect of dewdrops on flowers (because of the flowers in the glass base tile), and a feeling of luxuriant freshness overcomes you.
